What is the LHAAC?
The LHAAC is a Statutory entity, empowered under the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1911, and part of the WA State Government.
Our main focus is to facilitate the provision of analytical services to Local Governments in order to monitor the risks from various substances (such as food, water, air and physical environment) that can impact the health and wellbeing of people in Western Australia.
For more information about who we are, what we do and the services we can provide to our Local Government stakeholders, please view our introductory video and/or download our general introduction pdf.
