What is the LHAAC?

The LHAAC is a statutory entity under the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1911 and operates as part of the WA State Government.

We focus on facilitating analytical services for Local Governments to help monitor risks from various substances, including food, water, air, and the physical environment that may impact public health and wellbeing in Western Australia.

To learn more about who we are, what we do, and the services we offer to Local Government stakeholders, please watch our introductory video or download our general introduction PDF.
